The Proposal of a New Market Entry Strategy

In the master’s thesis is presented a draft marketing strategy of entering to new geographic market for the company Kili, s.r.o., which sells materials for the manufacture of furniture, equip interior and construction. The objective of the thesis is to develop a proposal to open a new branch in selected location including a description of the marketing mix. The proposed section will be preceded by a summary of theoretical knowledge and analysis of the contemporary conditions of the company, focusing on internal and external business environment.

The diploma thesis deals with possible option of establishing the branch office of the technology company in Slovakia. The first part is focused on theory related to setting up the business plan. The second part contains analysis describing current status of the company of interest based on the information provided. The proposal of the branch office setting up is included in the last part of the diploma thesis where ways the company could follow when entering new market are described.

This thesis focuses on designing marketing activities in order to raise the awareness of the company FlixBus GmbH in the Czech Republic. The situation of this company in comparison to other competitors and the travel market in general will be analysed in this paper. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part defines marketing and concentrates on the theoretical aspects of international marketing and different techniques used in different countries. Furthermore, several marketing channels will be described, which nowadays are often used in fast growing companies. The analytical part focuses on the current position of the company in these particular markets. In the last part, several marketing strategies will be proposed, which would raise awareness and increase the share in the new market.
